Inside Sales Representative

    LPG & NH3 Supply is a market leader of equipment sales and facility/storage construction, serving the propane (LPG) and anhydrous (NH3) industries in the Northern Central States – most of our business pertains to propane. We take great pride in offering quality products, at competitive prices, via a knowledgeable staff that provides excellent service and support. Our large inventory enables us to ship items so that they are received by our customers in a timely manner; usually the next business day.


    Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) employed with LPG & NH3 Supply serve an important function. They work closely with customers to ensure a smooth sales process and are responsible for answering inquiries, processing orders, finding solutions to their concerns, and cultivating mutually-beneficial relationships with them. Our ISRs are friendly, well-spoken and ready to close the deal. Our most successful ISRs have both industry and customer service/sales experience.


    Inside Sales Representative Duties and Responsibilities

    •Process sales orders

    •Answer customer inquiries and resolve concerns with available resources

    •Provide timely follow-up

    •Enhance/establish rapport with key contacts of existing/new customers

    •Promote and educate customers about the various items and/or services that we represent/offer (this includes communication with potential customers outside of our established territory)

    •Work closely with Territory Sales Representatives (TSRs) to provide excellent customer service and sales support

    •Work closely with marketing department to enhance our brand name awareness, recognition and preference

    •Develop leads and referrals into new business as defined

    •Assist in maintaining records of all customer accounts and sales prospects via prevailing customer relationship management (CRM) system

    •Monitor and report about competitor activities, new products and market conditions

    •Attend and/or participate in appropriate events as needed (e.g. trade shows, open houses, training sessions, etc.)


    Inside Sales Representative Requirements

    •Industry experience (e. g. bulk delivery, customer service, management, sales, service, technical support, etc.)

    •Excellent customer service skills

    •Excellent oral and electronic communication skills

    •Excellent organization and time management skills

    •Ability to grasp, understand and effectively communicate product applications, as well as features and benefits

    •Computer competency (familiar with MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)

    •Detail oriented

    •Ability to work independently while being part of a team

    •Background check


    Ideal Candidates will also Possess some or all of the below Attributes

    • Proven track record of providing good customer service and/or successfully selling goods/services

    • Post-secondary education (via a university or trade school)

    • Aptitude for negotiations and persuasion


    Supervisor

    Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) report to the Sales Manager.


    Compensation

    Inside Sales Representatives (ISRs) are paid a salary plus any applicable commission for orders that they

    process. Additionally, commissions are paid for sales orders resulting from callouts. We also offer a

    comprehensive benefits package.

Territory Sales Representative

    Territory Sales Representatives (TSRs) employed with LPG & NH3 Supply serve as the primary contact

    with our customers. They are responsible for establishing and cultivating mutually beneficial

    relationships with customers within their assigned territory. Our TSRs are passionate and highly driven

    professionals, who play a leading role in accelerating growth of market share and revenue. Our most

    successful TSRs have both industry and sales experience.


    Salesperson Duties and Responsibilities

    • Minimally meet, ideally exceed, annual sales goals and objectives

    • Schedule appointments and other appropriate activities

    • Meet with existing and potential customers (it’s expected that each salesperson will meet with each

    customer, within their territory, at least once every six (6) to eight (8) weeks)

    • Promote and educate our customers about the various items and/or services that we

    represent/offer

    • Resolve customer inquiries/concerns

    • Work closely with the inside sales team to provide excellent customer service and support

    • Work closely with marketing department to enhance our brand name awareness, recognition and

    preference

    • Generate, qualify and follow-up on sales leads

Construction Sales / Assistant Manager

    Position: Construction Sales/ Assistant Manager

    Location: Minnesota-based, Midwest Territory Coverage

    Travel: ~20% with occasional overnights


    We are a leading provider of turnkey propane system design and installation services, specializing in bulk propane storage systems across the Midwest. Our work includes fullscope system design, engineering, plant connections, piping, controls, and ongoing maintenance.


    We’re looking for an experienced and driven individual to lead and grow our construction

    division, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality projects and building long-term customer satisfaction.


    What You’ll Do:


    ● Manage and grow the construction  division, ensuring efficient, high-quality installations and exceptional customer experience.

    ● Support pre-sales activities: Participate in quoting, customer meetings, and site visits to help secure new projects.

    ● Once a job is awarded, shift to an execution-focused role, overseeing:

          ○ Technical design and documentation

          ○ Material planning and procurement

          ○ Construction crew direction (field & shop)

    ● Assist with diagnostics, repairs, and  maintenance of bulk propane storage systems and related infrastructure at customer sites.


    What We’re Looking For:


    ● Hands-on experience with propane plant 
    installations, Autogas systems, vaporizers, pipefitting, electrical controls,  and storage terminals is highly preferred.

    ● Strong leadership and project management skills with a track record of
    delivering quality results on time and on budget.

    ● Ability to collaborate across sales, engineering, and field teams.


    Additional Details:


    ● Based in Minnesota, covering MN, ND, SD, WI, IA, IL, & MI

    ● Approx. 20% travel with some overnights

     Compensation: Competitive and negotiable with consideration for experience
